Friday wasn't bad but it drizzled off and on Saturday. Many of the shooters, however, loved the flat grey sky and no wind which kept the targets on a "rail". The 12 Ga. shoot off went about a box and a half while the 20 Ga. shoot off was over in the first box.

When one prominent member of the Michigan shooting crowd was asked if he was going to contribute any stories to a book idea mentioned in the skeet forum, he responded with, "None that the statute of limitations hasn't run out on." Shocked Laughing

Jim Murphy brought out two ten week old male English Setters he's selling and let everyone fall in love with them. Dan "Man-Up" Moore needed to check with his wife before taking one home. He didn't figure that she'd accept the tale that he had won the dog in a shoot off. Laughing Laughing Even future NSSA President Jim Gast had one sleeping in his lap for awhile and may go home with one. Wink

Sunday was HOT HOT HOT and HUMID but the shooters still put together some good scores. Oh yeah... it was windy all day too... particularly during the .410 (as usual). Dan and Jim decided NOT to get a puppy (wives said NO) but one is already gone to a good home. So... only one left folks.

Jared Darby came to our shoot even though he's not in the Zone and was hard to recognize without his hair.
